Adoption Completed- Precious is happy in her new home!
Meet Precious, who really fulfills her name. Precious is an adorable 6/7 year old Kerry/Schnauzer mix whose owner, due to health issues is unable to care for her at this time. Precious displays the full Kerry temperament and spirit. She is energetic, walks well on a leash, and is housebroken. Precious is crate trained and is crated at night because she tends to roam and get into mischief. Precious often reverts to “selective listening” if she is busy entertaining herself or does not want to comply with commands. She loves her toys and is food driven, so you need to have treats on hand. Precious is bursting full of energy and loves to explore places and things. She gets fascinated by what she “thinks” is hiding behind the trees in the yard! She can easily be called a real “busy beaver”!
Precious gets along well with the children in her foster home and with the resident Kerries as well as other dogs in the neighborhood, often trying to engage in a game of “chase.” This spunky girl may benefit from a refresher obedience class and would be a good candidate for agility classes. She is a sweetheart and loves to be loved on. If you’re looking for a Velcro love bug, then Precious is the one for you!
