Adoption Completed! Handsome boy Lew has a happy loving new home!
Updated: May 22, 2020
Handsome loving Lew has found a fabulous new home in New England where is his being loved, treasured, and has in his adorable way has taken over control of his new home. He even has a new name: Teddy! Congratulations to Lew now known as Teddy and his new family. More stories on his new life to come.
Handsome LEW could be a model: he is that good looking! But what he really needs is a new home!
Look at this strikingly handsome, almost 7 years young Kerry male! This is LEW, a new rescue currently in Houston TX coming into our program. Lew is a good-looking neutered male who is up to date on all his shots. To no fault of his own, his mom will not be able to care for him any longer. Mom says Lew is a super sweet boy who loves playing ball more than almost anything and he is great with kids. He was temperament tested recently at a local doggie daycare and we discovered that is just not going to be his thing: he showed male dominance, wanting to challenge males and even chased after a female that is a happy go lucky, playful girl. Lew needs a home where he is the only dog, with a stay at home person and a yard so he can continue to run after those squirrels he so loves to chase! He loves going for walks and currently has a dog walker. Lew does have dry eyes so he will need daily drops daily.
If you think Lew might be a great match for you and your family, please contact Rhonda McDonald at rhondamcd@earthlink.net. She can give you more information and help evaluate if you and Lew might be an amazing forever match. You can also go to the rescue section on this website and complete an application for adoption. You will find that listed on the left side of the screen in the rescue section of the website. There is an online version and a pdf version which can be printed off, scanned in, and sent to us. And if you cannot consider making this gentleman your own, please consider helping the Foundation with the expenses that we will incur in rehoming him. You can donate right on the KBTF website and any amount would be greatly appreciated. Let’s get Lew a new home!
